2009 vs. 2019

I’ve joined a group of mums to answer a question each Monday.

Today’s question is, “please share your experience of your last ten years, 2019 vs. 2009.”

In 2019 we began the year with a trip to Australia and will end it with a trip to Suffolk to my mum’s for Christmas.

Travel, for work and pleasure, has always been my great love and has spanned each year this past decade. I think it’s a great part of my life and who I am. The difference now is that the travels and wonderment are with these two, as well as with friends. I met Kevin halfway through this decade.

We got a card for our wedding last year saying on it, “say yes to new adventures”. We’ll be remembering that for the next decade.
