Some moments from 2019 with Coraline. The beauty is in all the little moments.

Though it’s not one of the values I have written down for this blog, “being present in the moment,” could be one. Kevin has always said Coraline is present in the moment.

Whatever you’re doing being present in that moment, accepting it as it is, however you’re feeling; enjoying it or just accepting how you feel. Not thinking, “could be here, could be doing this, could have chosen that” or thoughts of the past or future.

It’s something Kevin and I are very interested in and have as a goal to keep aspiring to for next year. Kevin loves listening to Eckhardt Tolle audiobooks about this.

I’ll write a post next about how I personally understand what it means, and what it brings.

This morning we had a lovely moment (well Kevin did, as I was in the other room).

Coraline climbed onto our sofa herself unaided for the first time.
