Lots of socks at Coraline's preschool

It’s the start of Down’s Syndrome Awareness week this week.

I asked Coraline’s preschool if they could do one day this week where the children wear odd socks for Down’s Syndrome Awareness (traditionally done on World Down Syndrome Day which is on Saturday).

The idea is that it will spark up a conversation when someone asks you about your socks, and helps to spread the message of inclusion and awareness.

They emailed around and said they are asking children to wear odd socks every day this week and that “show and tell” each day this week will be the children’s’ socks.

Wow! This made us smile and smile!
