Kevin's third Father's Day

I found these pictures yesterday by chance when looking for some photos of Coraline when she was younger, for a guest post I was writing.

They are from mid November 2018 when we took Coraline back for a check-up after her open heart surgery earlier that month at the Evelina London Children’s Hospital.

I love the poem on the wall by Roger McGough in the last photo.

In Good Hands

Wherever night falls
The earth is always
There to catch it

Reminds me of Kev. He’s a pretty remarkable man. He’s the best husband and dad and is always there to make Coraline, and me, laugh. And to inspire us to just go for it.

Happy Father’s Day to my own dad too who the poem also reminds me of. He’s also a remarkable man, full of wisdom.

Kev has just brought me a starter so I better stop now! #lucky
