In mid-February Coraline’s one-to-one teacher at preschool told Kevin when he picked her up one day that she’d gone and sat down and picked up a paintbrush herself. This was huge!

Today when I went to collect Coraline, her teacher told me that Coraline had done both these paintings herself. We have these conversations outside now in the socially distanced queue of parents when they bring the children out. I said that Coraline doesn’t draw or paint at home. We try it sat at her little table. She said that they had observed that Coraline doesn’t paint sat at a table. She told me that they put the paper up on the wall and Coraline sits on a chair at the wall and paints that way. We will have to try this at home. She told me you have to watch out as the brush goes flying when Coraline is done, as with most things.
