Monday blogging question: “What does being a parent of a child with special educational needs feel like to you?”

I am going to take two minutes and write all the adjectives that spring to mind, or rather just a mix of words that come:

Eye opening, love, a widened perspective on life, enriching, connecting, tiring, eventful, a lot of research, a course in adaptation, fun, frustration, exhaustion, discovery, like I have grown hugely, challenging, beautiful, loving, seeking ways to understand, good, meaningful, awareness of perspective, awareness of a great deal more all around me, requiring a lot of concentration and full attention, empowering, deep, insightful, requiring investigation and resourcefulness, brings the world closer, intense, happy, all encompassing, appreciation, vast feelings. The most important journey of my life.

Kevin says (laughing): Depends when you ask me!
